And she returns to the world of Xanga after so long an absence.....

I'm back..... yes, yes, yes I know.... It's been far too long and I take complete responsibility for my actions.  A lot has been going on lately, some good, some not so good. Midterms are over and I can't believe how fast school has gone by.  It's really amazing and kinda scary at the same time.   It's been a pretty great semester so far, and I thank God for it, I really do. U of M is on Fall Break last weekend through Tuesday, so I'm trying to make the most of it. Chris and I planned on going to Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park today, but since his car has been misbehaving, we went to Shelby Farms instead. It was really awesome, and we both got in a lot of nice photography. I'll probably post it tomorrow, I hope.

Since he's been back, it's been easier to get through school days, really, really BAD orchestra rehearsals, disappointing days and dealing with people being.... well, ... people!   It;s really awesome to study the bible together, and we both end up learning waaay more together than we would if we were alone. Through the trials and irritating times where nothing seems to go right, I have to remind myself that every day is a good day for the Lord, cause He is glorified through everything, right?  Sooooooo, with that in mind, I try to stop, take a deep breath, and thank God for what he's done for me, because I've found that  I should try to view the trials and tests I might face as a gift from God and an oppertunity to surrender and grow.

I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow, but in the meantime. May God Richly bless ya'll !

    Always,

    AnnaBanana

    School is officially over!!!

Yes, I'm back..... finally. I've been so weighted down with school, it's not even close to being funny. But now I am officially donw with summer school for-evah!! Yippee!! Mum and Dad left two weeks ago with Lydiatchka for Montana and from what I hear they are having the time of their life up there. Mum told me today that the high for today is like, 45 degree? And it's raining?? BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! But Memphis could definatly use some of that.. it's a confection oven down here, I'm dead serious. So it's just me and my littlest sister, Thea here at the ranch. It's peaceful but tiring.  I would post pictures but both camera are in Big Sky country and I'm not planning on driving out there to get them. (did ya'll know it takes a WEEK to get out there? Seriously!!!!)

Anyway,Hannah and Kevin Schmidt got married yesterday and it was a lovely wedding. I'll post pictures up here maybe tomorrow.

    Until then,

    God bless You!!

    Always,

    Anna

A Young Rose fell in love with her Master
The Gardener who cared for the flowers of the Vale
The brindled morning twilight woulds't bring him to her side
No words spoke she, but watched as he went about his way

"Am I then doomed to ne'er say a word?" thought she as dew adorned her robes
Of scarlet, mauve and sun kissed blush.
"Can I not rise, and speak and sing,
Give glory to the sunlit sky
And give set aside my misery?"

If gods of old might grant her blessed
To somehow keep him well and fresh
To mock the scowling, sullen Death
And live through decades on until
    Time itself had stopped.

"But if this cannot be" said she
And lift her eyes to heaven
"Let me die and for naught will I
    Continue life without him."

Each morning face to face they'd come
The Rose, arising on the breeze
Her scent, a flavour, to man unknown
Sings of a beauty long forgotten; lost
Of longing, love, and growing old
Before the Fall of Man was set
The Scent of Eden enclosed inside
    A flow'r of a russet hue

    One morning found the Gardener
A-sleeping on the face of mirror-mimic surface
Of dark blue dark green lake
    The ripples bore him gently
    The willow wept and sighed
the soft East Wind blew on on his face
    And led his Soul away
    To rest forever peaceful

The Rose bend her red gold head as gentle rain poured down
She knew the instant he breathed his last
Her tears flowed mingled down her stem,
    Entwined with Heaven's liquid diamond
The East Wind heard her silent grief
On silken wing to her did fly

    Angelic eyes of prism fire,
Well hidden from the World of Men
    Looked Upon the little Rose
Felt her pain and touched her gently
    "Be thou comforted" said he
And she felt then that which passeth
    What Man can ever know

And in the rain, the sweet spring rain
She breathed her last and closed her eyes
Her last glimpse of Earthly wonder
Was Heaven Opening from the Skies.

    Hi again

Sorry I haven't been on here in so long.. life has been a bit hectic.

Just bought the movie, "Australia" the other day and realized that it was, by far the most incredible movie I have ever seen.

Summer school is dragging steadily on, slowly but surely. My friends Laura and Justin are getting married in two weeks, and then there's Laurie and Daniel and Hannah and Kevin so I promise I will have more pictures to post.  I love weddings, but I'm about wedding'd out as of now....

That's about all there is to tell as of now....

I'll post some good stuff soon, I promise.

    Always,

    Anna

    The World's Not Our Home

    The world’s not our home

    We are traveling still

And our eyes are set upon the rugged cross upon the hill

Though life throws us curveballs, and makes us despair

All burdens He takes, for you know that He cares

    (chorus)

Songs of gladness and songs of thankfulness we’ll raise

Forever our dear Redeemer we’ll praise

Our home is with Him, and our eyes fixed above

Thank you for your unfailing love.

The river is wide and so feral and strong

We must look at Jesus for strength to carry on

Heed not the call from the world’s sinful view

Look firmly to Jesus, be faithful and true

There will be burdens and there will be trials

Your feet will get tired from the tread of many miles

But Heav’n is our home and soon we’ll fly away

To live, praise, and worship with our Lord for always

I wrote this song a few nights ago in honor of my mother.

God gives her so much strength and I am so glad she is still with us..

    Always,

    Anna

Did you not hear My Lady- George Frederic Handel

Did you not see My Lady Go down the garden singing? Blackbird and thrush were silent

To hear the alleys ringing... Oh saw you not My Lady Out in the garden there Shaming the rose and lily For she is twice as fair.Though I am nothing to her Though she must rarely look at me

And though I could never woo her, I love her till I die.

Surely you heard My Lady, Go down the garden singing Silencing all the songbirds And setting the alleys ringing...

But surely you see My Lady, Out in the garden there Rivaling the glittering sunshine With a glory of golden hair.

    Always,

    Anna
